20 years ago the Steps was the best pub in Stourport, now after extensive renovation it is heading that way again.

Ladybird Inns bought the Steps in 2007 in a derelict state. After 15 months renovation, which had to be carried out extremely sensitively because Steps is a Grade 2 Listed Building, it re-opened in December 2008 as a pub/bistro with a high quality dining area as well as 3 separate bar areas and a function room.

The Steps has the advantage of being a free house and a wide range of beers, lagers, ciders and wines are stocked as well as several guest ales.

Everything about the interior of the pub is new including the toilets and the kitchens and back of house areas. Opening hours are 12 noon to 11.00 pm Saturday to Sunday.

The restaurant has a full al carte menu at competent prices and has recently introduced a set menu offering 2 courses for £8.95 and 3 courses for £11.95 which is proving a big success.
